Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee accounting and financial functions for Midas Hospitality hotels. This will include monthly closing, working with accounts payable, payroll backup and monthly reporting to clients. Midas Hospitality offers a hybrid work from home schedule with two days at home and three days at our central office located in Maryland Heights, MO. What You Will Be Doing Preparation of monthly financial statements. Complete monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained. Assist in the implementation of corporate policies and procedures such as invoice processing, cash management and calculation of fees. Help maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Manage cash flow of assigned hotels. Assist with preparation of annual budgets. Review and record journal entries required to reflect monthly activity. The Ideal Candidate Must have bachelor or associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the Hospitality industry (but not required) About Us From humble beginnings in 2006 to an enterprise being driven by more than 1,000 people today, Midas Hospitality has never lost sight of our #1 priority - people.
