We’re hiring: In-House Bookkeeper / Head of HR

Che Fico Restaurant Group is looking for a full-time, in-house Bookkeeper & Head of HR to support our growing team. This is not a third-party contractor role—we already work with outside firms and platforms. We’re looking for someone to augment those services, bring structure and clarity in-house, and grow alongside our business.

This person will work closely with our Financial Director and oversee bookkeeping and HR across all our restaurant properties. The scope of this role is still evolving, so it’s a great opportunity for a self-starter who knows how to build systems, processes, and culture from the ground up.

Qualifications we’re looking for:

• 3–5+ years experience in bookkeeping and/or HR
• Strong understanding of payroll, labor law compliance, benefits admin, and employee onboarding/offboarding
• Proven experience reconciling financials, managing vendor payments, and working within accounting platforms
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Comfortable working on-site from a laptop in a restaurant setting
• Excited about building something that doesn’t exist yet
• Restaurant or hospitality experience is a big plus but not essential

This role will be hands-on, flexible, and highly impactful, with the opportunity to shape how we grow. Until we establish a central office, most of the work will be done from within one of our restaurant spaces.
