Position Overview:

City Care is looking for someone who can imagine what is possible, build the strategies to get there, and sustain momentum throughout the year. As our Annual Campaign Director, you will guide the planning and execution of our yearly fundraising efforts while strengthening the relationships that make this work possible. You will guide a high-performing team responsible for donor operations, campaigns, major gifts, and initiatives that inspire supporters, grow our donor base, and advance the mission through consistent and thoughtful engagement. This position reports to the Senior Director of Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate the annual campaign strategy to meet revenue goals across individual giving, monthly giving, and seasonal appeals
• Oversee the creation and execution of campaign materials, including mailings, digital appeals, targeted outreach, and donor impact communications
• Analyze giving trends and produce regular reports to guide strategy and forecast campaign performance
• Partner with the Senior Director of Development and broader development team to align annual giving with organizational priorities
• Collaborate with Communications to ensure cohesive messaging and storytelling throughout all campaign channels
• Coordinate donor segmentation, prospect identification, and targeted cultivation strategies
• Support stewardship activities through timely acknowledgments, personalized touchpoints, and opportunities for deeper engagement
• Manage campaign calendars, deadlines, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure smooth implementation
• Assist with donor events tied to the annual campaign, including planning, follow up, and data capture
• Maintain accurate donor records and campaign metrics in the donor database

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in fundraising, annual giving, or campaign management
• A strategic thinker who brings initiative, creativity, and commitment to City Care’s mission
• Proven ability to manage timelines, coordinate projects, and move multiple priorities forward
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on relationship building
• Familiarity with donor management systems, digital fundraising platforms, and segmented outreach
