Stoltzfus Meats is looking for an organized and creative Cake Boss to manage our cake, pie, and pastry selection, ensuring it's always fresh, appealing, and ready for our customers. The Cake Boss will be responsible for preparing cakes for sale by cutting larger cakes, pies, and pastries into smaller portions, packaging them attractively, and stocking displays. This role is perfect for someone who combines attention to detail with an eye for presentation, enhancing our customers' bakery experience through enticing product displays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cakes, pies, and pastries for sale by cutting, portioning, and packaging items in customer-friendly sizes.
• Maintain well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing bakery shelves, keeping displays fresh and inviting throughout the day.
• Monitor inventory levels of cakes, pies, and packaging supplies, coordinating with bakers to meet daily stocking needs.
• Arrange and present cakes, pies, and pastries in a way that attracts customers, following any established display guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including all cake-cutting and packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.
• Assist with customer questions about bakery products as needed, providing information on ingredients, portion sizes, and availability.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a bakery, food prep, or retail environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in cutting and packaging food items for consistent portions.
• Ability to keep displays attractive and product-focused, with an eye for design and organization.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• A positive, customer-friendly attitude with a commitment to quality and presentation.
