Our client is seeking a BMC Firmware Engineer - Senior to join their team. As a BMC Firmware Engineer, you will be part of the firmware development department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid debugging methodology, and a passion for collaborative problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Develop BMC firmware in an OpenBMC environment while coordinating with architects, BIOS developers, vendors, and quality assurance teams.
• Upstream work to the OpenBMC community and troubleshoot existing designs to ensure robust firmware releases.
• Employ solid software methodologies and manageability design expertise to deliver defect-free firmware on schedule.
• Focus on continuous feature and code improvement to enhance firmware performance.
• Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment to drive innovative solutions.

What's Needed?

• Previous BMC Firmware development experience is mandatory (e.g., Dell iDRAC, Dell CMC, HP iLo).
• Highly proficient in developing User Interfaces based on JavaScript and understanding network socket concepts.
• Experience with Open Source Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) Software Stack (OpenBMC).
• Programming experience in JavaScript, Shell Scripting, Python, C, and C++ is required.
• Knowledge of low-level protocols including I2C, I3C, JTAG, SPI, eSPI, UART, and PCIe is expected.
