Title: Business Analyst – Medical Malpractice Claims Automation

Duration: 3-6 Months+

Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote job)

Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead the automation of medical malpractice claims processes and leverage data analytics to drive efficiency and business improvement. The ideal candidate will connect business needs with technical solutions, translating complex claims requirements into actionable data strategies and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert in medical malpractice claims workflows, lifecycle, and regulations.
• Analyze and optimize existing claims processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Document and refine business requirements , functional specs , and user stories .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including claims, legal, and IT.
• Support solution design, testing (UAT) , and implementation of claims system upgrades.
• Provide user training and post-implementation support.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Direct experience with medical malpractice , liability, or professional lines insurance is mandatory .
• Strong knowledge of claims systems , process automation , and data analytics
