Aquarius Cafe Food Server

City: Laughlin, State: NV Shift: Varies Type of Shift: Steady Extra Department: Food & Beverage

General Summary: Places food and beverage orders, delivers items to tables and ensures guests enjoy their visit to the coffee shop.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Takes accurate food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve food and beverage orders to guest tables according to venue specifications and to engage with guests in a professional, courteous and efficient manner and complete side work.
• Maintains knowledge of all restaurant menu options and answers guests' questions about the menu.
• Delivers food to guests, ensuring that the proper order was received and that beverages are refilled.
• Communicates regularly with on-coming shift staff and the chef on duty to address issues and concerns.
• Ensures that all food is served within health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Attends training classes required by management.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
• Provide outstanding guest service to all internal and external guests.

Job Specifications Qualifications:

• Six months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a high volume restaurant preferred.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all cards required by the company.
• Must be able to verify right to work in the U.S.

Working Conditions Physical Requirements:

• Walking and standing (over 95% of the time).
• Regularly required to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
