Luna Data Solutions is seeking a Sr Network Engineer for a long-term contract in Austin.

12 month duration initially, should extend in 12 month increments

Onsite initially then Hybrid once acclimated, location North Austin (78753), flexible onsite schedule; for example start early/leave early

The client has an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to participate in upgrading a major communication network.

The position will act as the primary liaison in the development and updating of cyber security policies. Will be responsible for:

• Programming and maintaining the main core switches
• Implementing a deployment plan for the 900+ EtherWAN switches
• Setting up and maintaining a Radius server
• Setting up an SNMP management system
• Evaluating/revising security policies as appropriate to meet industry security standards.
• Working with clients to implement Active Directory Authentication, Federation for users outside of the client

Required: CCNA, Cisco and Meraki

Preferred: CCNP, previous Military experience
