We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team in Pasadena, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in managing business-to-business (B2B) collections and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in commercial collections.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute B2B collections processes to recover outstanding balances efficiently.
• Handle a backlog of overdue accounts, ensuring prompt follow-up and resolution.
• Collaborate with clients to negotiate payment plans and address disputes effectively.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to track and prioritize collection efforts.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure alignment.
• Provide recommendations for improving collection strategies and reducing outstanding debts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations during collection activities.
• Regularly report collection progress and metrics to management.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial collections or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of B2B collection processes and practices.
• Proficiency in managing credit and billing-related tasks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze account data and identify discrepancies.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
• Familiarity with relevant collection laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in using collection software or tools.
