ABM Technical Solutions is looking for a Commercial HVAC Service Technician for the Tempe branch office. \nBasic Qualifications:
\n• Must be 18 years of age or older
\n• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license. Must be able to pass background check, drug screening and MVR check.
\n• Must possess HVAC license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed
\n• Must possess EPA Universal certification credentials
\n• Must have refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification
\n• Five (5) years plus of HVAC experience are required
\n• ABM work truck provided
Preferred Qualifications:
\n• Five (5) years plus of HVAC experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
\n• Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systems
\n• Use common tools of the HVAC trade in daily work (e.g multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools etc.)
\n• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
\n• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
\n• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
\n• Clean, adjust and repair systems, and perform warranty services
\n• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
\n• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training
\n• Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
\n• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
\n• Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements
\n• Assist with customer queries inquiries
\n This position requires On-Call duties when scheduled.
