Job Description - Engineering Design Assistant (2502242) Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume) : Associates degree (foreign equivalent or higher) and two (2) years of apprenticeship, education, or work experience in General Construction. In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of apprenticeship, education, or work experience in General Construction may be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Planning and/or crew administration experience.Supervision of construction. Brief Description of Duties: Working under supervision, incumbents design and construct a wide variety of models and devices following limited written or oral instructions. Complete assignments as described by the general nature and purpose of equipment of device. Duties: Perform laboratory construction of advanced difficulty in planning and designing with the ability to read blueprints. Monitor budgets and timelines. May assign and check tasks performed by others assigned to assist in the work when completing large projects or programs. Other duties as assigned.
