Full-Time Handyman (1099 Contractor) – $20–$30/hr + Bonuses

Location: Austin, TX & surrounding areas

Job Type: Full-Time | 1099 Independent Contractor

Pay: $20–$30/hour (based on experience) + job completion bonuses

About the Role

We are a growing, professional handyman business looking to bring on an experienced full-time handyman to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and wants steady work without the hassle of finding their own jobs.

Most weeks will be 40 hours, though some weeks may vary. We are looking for someone who can start soon and is open to a short ride-along/training period to learn how we operate before taking on jobs independently.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Small to medium handyman jobs, including:
  
• • Drywall repair (sheetrock)
  • Light electrical (outlets, switches, fixtures)
  • Plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, disposals)
  • Doors, hardware, trim, minor carpentry
  • General repairs and maintenance
• Completing jobs efficiently and professionally
• Communicating clearly with our team and customers
• Representing our company well on job sites

Requirements

• Previous handyman or similar trade experience required
• Comfortable with drywall repairs and light electrical work
• Ability to work independently after training
• Reliable transportation and basic tools
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Professional attitude and good communication skills
• Must be legally able to work as a 1099 independent contractor
