We are a trucking company in Tampa, FL, seeking an experienced Straight Truck Dispatcher. The role starts part-time with potential to grow into full-time .
Responsibilities:
Dispatch straight trucks for local and regional loads
Communicate with drivers, customers, and receivers
Book and negotiate loads (direct contacts + load boards)
Maintain compliance with DOT and company policies
Requirements:
Proven dispatching experience (straight truck preferred)
Established contacts with Tampa-area shippers/receivers
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple trucks
Schedule & Pay:
Part-time to start, with potential for full-time
Pay: Percentage of load revenue (experience-based)
Location:
Tampa, FL (local knowledge required)
