Summary:

Job Title: Forklift Operator (Order Picker or Reach Truck)

Job Location: Plainfield, IN

Employment Type: Full-Time - Temp-to-hire

Days/Hours Available:

Multiple 1st and 2nd shift opportunities

Compensation Range: $17.22 - $18.58 +OT and Double Time

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe and secure work environment, following all OSHA rules, as well as state and local laws.

• Follow warehouse procedures Security & Safety standards.

• Maintain a clean and professional facility meeting all the warehouse excellence requirements.

• Ensure forklift checklists are filled out accurately and timely.

• Report any issues or needs with inventory of packaging materials and supplies

• Ensures lift is maintained when in use and is plugged in properly at the end of the shift.

Operations and Quality

• Accurate labeling and loading of freight.

• Accurate order picking in a timely manner.

• Accurate put away locations

• Accurate and safe loading and unloading of trucks.

• Be able to match up numbers and country codes.

• Support the vision and goals of the warehouse. .

• Any other task that the leadership assigns.

Qualifications:

• Education: high school diploma

• Experience 1+ years of Reach Truck or Order Picker (REQUIRED)

• Clean 7 year Background Check, Drug Screen and E-verify

Knowledge/ Skills:

• Be able to read documents, manifests, delivery orders and follow their instructions.

• Be able to operate a reach truck or order picker forklift.

• Adaptable to change, reliable and self-motivated, organized.

• Has a positive attitude and works well with others.

• Pro-active, ability to foresee incidents and adhere to warehouse safety practices

• Must be able to shift priorities easily.

• Must be able to lift at least 40lbs, bend, and twist from time to time.

• Must wear appropriate attire
