Funeral Director - Buch Family of Funeral Homes
Buch Family of Funeral Homes with three locations in Lancaster County, PA, a trusted and compassionate family-owned firm, is seeking a full-time PA Licensed Funeral Director to join our team. Position Overview
As a Licensed Funeral director, you will play a vital role in serving families with professionalism and care-both through directing meaningful services, and providing quality preparation and embalming. We are committed to serving families with dignity, respect, and genuine care, and we’re looking for someone who shares those values.
Responsibilities:
Meet with families to arrange and direct funeral and memorial services.
Provide guidance on funeral planning, cremation, burial, and related services.
Coordinate all details related to visitations, ceremonies, and interments.
Prepare necessary documentation, permits, and death certificates.
Ensure compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.
Perform embalming, preparation, and presentation of decedent when required.
Maintain a professional and caring presence at all times.
Qualifications:
Current Pennsylvania Funeral Director’s License (required)
Minimum 1-3 years of experience preferred, but new licensees will be considered.
Excellence communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
