Golf Course Maintenance Housekeeper

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated individual to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout our golf course clubhouse, golf maintenance building, and golf course facilities. This position involves ensuring that both indoor and outdoor areas remain pristine for guests and staff, including regular cleaning tasks, trash removal, and upkeep of various areas, such as the golf shop, banquet tent, golf carts, and restrooms. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering exceptional cleanliness, keeping the golf course environment in top condition, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Golf Shop:

• 8am deep clean restrooms in golf course, restock paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Deep clean back kitchen area
• Wipe down and clean countertops, bar, tables and chairs inside golf shop (repeat during the day as needed)
• Wipe down and rearrange tables and chairs under banquet tent
• Remove trash and replace garbage bags from golf shop trash cans and take to dumpster
• Break down cardboard boxes at loading dock and take to dumpster
• Remove trash and replace garbage bags in banquet tent trash cans
• Check for trash bags and other trash at golf cart barn and take to dumpster
• Use glass cleaner to clean inside and outside of golf shop doors
• Use extended broom to remove cobwebs from outside of clubhouse, light fixtures, banquet tent and front awning, etc.
• Empty cigarette urns outside of clubhouse
• Clean Dasani cooler at back of golf shop
• 1pm deep clean of restrooms
• Repeat other tasks as needed throughout the day
• 3pm deep clean of restrooms before leaving for the day

Golf Maintenance Building:

• Clean and remove trash from the breakroom restrooms in the golf maintenance building.
• Perform daily 1:30pm cleaning of the breakroom to ensure it remains tidy and presentable.

Golf Course Upkeep & Maintenance:

• Perform deep cleaning of the restrooms on hole #6 twice daily.
• Collect and remove unsecured trash, such as sandwich wrappers and chip bags, from the golf course.
• Check tee boxes for broken tees and remove them when golfers are not present.
• Ensure bunker rakes are returned to the lowest point of the bunker after use.
• Clean and maintain 150-yard marker posts, straighten red/white stakes on sides of the golf course and green/white stakes that direct golf cart traffic.
• Clean and wipe down other signs on the golf course; straighten up and wipe down tee markers.

Scheduling/Availability

• Part-Time, Weekends ONLY, with shifts to include early morning and afternoon cleaning.
• Hours 8am 3pm, with some flexibility.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform cleaning tasks to a high standard.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus, especially in an outdoor or hospitality setting.
