Responsibilities to Anticipate: • Design of concise, testable safety requirements or providing safety analysis of existing requirements • Performing System Safety Program or Design analyses • Placement in challenging or under-performing programs with the expectation of improvement of the safety program • Managing multiple-large system safety programs or a safety product line • Collaborating with other disciplines during program technical execution, • Interfacing with key stakeholders (e.g. customers, program offices, subcontractors, vendors) • Mentoring Multiple Jr. Engineers • Preparing Safety Assessment Reports and Safety Program Briefs for Customer Approval • Streamlining processes and reports across a product line for improved efficiency • Briefing safety of the program at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval process • Interpreting system requirements, customer specifications and military • standards • Preparing internal and customer reports describing various analyses relevant to the System Safety program • Collaborating across multiple disciplines to gain a full understanding of product architecture and design
