Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Licensed Esthetician to join our high-end spa team. The ideal candidate will provide professional skincare services, educate clients on proper skincare routines, and promote overall skin health and wellness. This role requires maintaining high standards of hygiene, building strong client relationships, and staying current with industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct client consultations and skin analyses to develop personalized treatment plans
Perform professional skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and exfoliation
Provide hair removal services including waxing and threading
Recommend retail products and at-home skincare regimens to meet client needs and sales goals
Educate clients on skincare techniques, healthy habits, and product usage
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace; follow all health and safety regulations
Keep detailed and confidential client records of treatments and progress
Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid New York State Esthetician License (required)
Completion of a state-approved esthetician or cosmetology program
Previous spa, salon, or clinical experience preferred
Knowledge of skin types, conditions, products, and advanced treatment techniques
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to recommend retail products and services to clients
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform treatments and stand for extended periods
