WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a sterile processing technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Vero Beach, FL.  

Job Function:

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 4X10: 7AM-5PM.
\n
• Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures.     
\n
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy.  
\n
• Prepare patients for surgery as requested.     
\n
• Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed.     
\n
• Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques.  
\n

Job Requirements:

• Current license for the state of Florida.
\n
• 3 months of experience required.\n
\n
