Job Description

Job Summary:   The Logistics & Fulfillment Specialist will report to the Director of Supply Chain and will coordinate supply chain processes and product delivery by tracking and reviewing invoices, shipment status, and delivery route activity.

Job Duties:

• Communicate transportation costs to affected parties.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and appointments.
• Track product through transportation process, make recommendations and provide updates to other departments and/or customers as necessary.
• Coordinate daily with Shipping and Receiving Department on shipments.
• Maintain various reports and shipping documents for domestic and international shipments.
• Works closely with the Purchasing Department on managing and optimizing in-bound freight costs and timely delivery.
• Perform other duties and collaborates as assigned.

Personal Characteristics:

• Proficient with Microsoft office Suite or related software.
• Knowledge of supply chain and fulfillment operations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional and clear communicator.
• Good time management skills and attention to detail.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and highly self-motivated.

Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years of experience in a Logistics and Fulfillment role.

Physical Requirements:   Must be able to work in a facility that handles allergens including but not limited to: wheat, soy, egg, milk, and tree nuts. Must be able to work in open environments exposed to pungent odors and varying climates.
