Hours of work: Full-time position with hoursMondays - Fridays, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 Hours/Week Under the supervision of the E&A supervisor or group leader, the technician will perform all functions under this job description. This includes all necessary functions to maintain a clean and safe shop. Complies with all Company and Safety Policies and procedures in the performance of assigned duties. Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to) \n Comply with company policies \n Assist with Annual and day to day \n Perform all general labor functions \n Sweep floors \n Empty trash \n Cut grass/remove snow when needed \n Load/unload trucks \n Operate fork truck \n Operate jib hoist and overhead crane \n Operate small power tools \n Operate and maintain all personal safety equipment \n Assemble all standard products, such as disposorbs, vaporpacs, high flow ventsorbs, etc. \n Pressure test all assembled units to meet necessary requirements \n Recondition small returnable units, such as cyclesorbs, bulk bins, etc. \n Weigh/Load carbon into the small systems as needed. \n Assist in receiving and verification of quantities of materials and parts delivered to E&A. \n Read instructions & drawings as necessary for the reconditioning and assembly of standard products. \n Fabricates lined pipe (PPL and TFE). This includes cutting, threading, assembly, flaring and testing of pipe spools from 1" through 4". \n Cuts, threads, and assembles carbon steel pipe, plastic pipe and stainless steel pipe \n Assists with warehousing duties. \n Performs layout and assembly on all small equipment such as cyclesorbs, bulk bins, vapor paks and high flow ventsorbs (and fan skids). \n Maintain CCC's service equipment. This includes dual modules, mobile adsorbers, filters, etc. \n Review of system when returned from customers, preparation of list(s) of required repairs and parts, performance of repairs to the mechanical parts of the systems as well as localized (spot) lining/painting repairs \n Pickup parts and or make small equipment deliveries \n Assemble piping, hydro static-testing \n \n Qualifications \n ~ Less than high school education is required \n ~ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred \n ~\n 0-2 years General labor is required \n ~ Industrial labor experience is preferred \n \n About Calgon Carbon At Calgon Carbon, we are scientific innovators with a proud legacy of over 80 years and more than 205 patents to our name.
