Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting for a Peer Recovery Specialist/Residential Assistant to support the A Place to Call Home Program in Gloucester County, New Jersey. The Peer Recovery Specialists/Residential Assistant will support the resident's recovery needs by providing 24/7 support and monitoring of mothers and children. Responsibilities include working directly with mothers and children, assisting with connection to community resources, providing support in recognizing cravings, urges, triggers, and skill building including relapse prevention planning. The role involves follow-up with mothers up to six months post discharge, crisis prevention and assistance, engagement and coordination with integrated team members for continuity of care, and thorough documentation in the EHR system. Requirements include a High School degree or equivalent, minimum one year experience in a recovery-oriented role, knowledge of the 12 steps for A.A., a valid driver's license with an insured vehicle, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in care.
