PeopleSoft Functional Financial Lead

Woodbridge, NJ – On site

Need local candidates for this role.

PeopleSoft Financial Functional Lead to join our Consulting Practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic transformation including extensive experience in Financials implementation, upgrades and migration projects.

Responsibilities Include:

• Consults with clients to ascertain and define requirements.
• Research and analyze existing systems and processes; identifying data and process flows and integration points; articulate modification risks and barriers; recommending project approaches.
• Effectively conducts Requirement Gathering and Fit/Gap meetings with the client.
• Leads project team and initiatives when called upon.
• Recognized as a subject matter expert in multiple functional areas, and serves as a lead functional consultant on projects.
• Coordinates directly with the customer to ensure that a high level of satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
• Transfers knowledge to the client.
• Maintains knowledge of current technologies and practices in professional area to assist with consulting initiatives.

Skills required:

Extensive working knowledge of the multiple financial modules, completing at least two full lifecycle implementations and upgrades.

Experience with General Ledger, Commitment Control and Asset Management

• 5 -7 years PeopleSoft experience.

• Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x

• Consulting experience .

• Effective written and verbal communications a must, with presentation experience.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a project team.

• Ability to travel nationwide.

• Public sector experience preferred.
