Job Description

As a Proctor at Great Place to Work , you will assist with the administration of paper/pencil and computer-based quizzes, tests, and exams for students of West Coast University. Ensure continuous compliance with established testing policies, laws, regulations, operating procedures, and University and accreditation standards. You will make an impact by: Providing assistance to WCU applicants/candidates, students, and faculty with academic testing parameters according to WCU, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and testing agency requirements. Scheduling proctored admissions and challenge exams; scheduling term/semester tests and make-up tests. Preparing, assembling, and transporting appropriate test materials to test sites to maintain confidentiality and security. Evaluating testing environment prior to, during, and after a proctored test to ensure test security, educational integrity, and an appropriate and quiet atmosphere. Your Experience Includes: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred. Experience with MS Office. Knowledge and use of computer workstations and peripheral equipment, as well as software applications. Experience with basic office/clerical recordkeeping/filing techniques/procedures. Follows basic work routines and standards. One year of basic test administration experience preferred. Schedule: This is a part-time position, working up to 20 hours per week per 10-week session. Flexibility with scheduling is required, with availability needed during the following times: 6:30am - 1:00pm Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Saturday-Sunday Will work approximately 1-2 weekend days per 10-week session
