Job Summary:

We are seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in project management, bidding, and cost control to oversee construction projects efficiently. This role requires expertise in preparing bids, managing cost codes, sending pay applications, and developing bidding formulas. The ideal candidate must also have advanced Excel skills for cost analysis, reporting, and project tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Project Bidding:

• Develop and maintain bidding formulas to improve cost efficiency and accuracy.
• Familiarity with surety bond.
• Prepare and submit public and private bid proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and refine cost codes to streamline financial tracking and reporting.
• Oversee and send pay applications, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Project Management & Execution:

• Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring cost efficiency, quality control, and on-time delivery.
• Track and maintain project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to prevent delays.
• Implement and enforce protocols for contractors, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of job progress, budgets, and change orders.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or budgets.

Office & Administrative Management:

• Utilize advanced Excel for data analysis, project cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Create and present financial and project status reports to leadership.
• Ensure contract compliance and documentation control for all projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bilingual (English & Spanish) – Strong verbal and written communication in both languages.
• Project management experience in a construction setting, with a focus on efficiency and cost control.
• 3+ years of experience with bidding and surety bond– Familiarity with proposal submissions, bid strategies, and compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills – Proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (Preferred not required).
• Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of construction contracts, permitting, and safety regulations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
