Responsibilities :

• Lead the Quality Control department to ensure full functionality, providing leadership through performance planning, ongoing feedback, and recognition activities.
• Establish, communicate, and measure performance against departmental objectives.
• Develop, implement, and disseminate policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, implementing new methods or processes to enhance the quality assurance system, quality management system, and compliance with certifications (e.g., ISO, CCC).
• Monitor and track quality and product performance, analyzing market, customer, and in-house results.
• Evaluate and address budgetary concerns to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee customer complaints, ensuring timely problem-solving and cost-effective resolutions.
• Review and report on supplier performance, identifying reasons for improvement or decline in ratings.
• Communicate regularly with top management to ensure low customer complaints and supplier quality at competitive prices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality control techniques and processes (e.g., ASQC).
• Competent user of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
