About the Role

As Scale Operator, you will provide an outstanding customer experience by meeting the customer’s needs and demonstrating technical competence.

What will you do?

• Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
• Ability to complete inter-company feed orders, inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
• Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area.
• Understand how to document and submit customer interactions in CRM (Customer Relationship Management System).
• Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
• Maintain an inventory of office supplies.
• Working knowledge of Landus inventory policies
• Perform operations for incoming/outgoing scale traffic in accordance with established procedures. (weighing, sampling, grading and ticketing)
• Ability to run grain or agronomy facilities remotely utilizing PLCs
• Ensure that the work area is kept clean and organized. Update the market board as needed.
• Develop ongoing general awareness of Landus Cooperative’s products/services and be able to communicate information to customers.
• Adhere to Landus Cooperative’s safety policies and procedures.
• Champion of safety compliance throughout the organization.

Licenses: This position requires the safe operation of a motor vehicle to perform the essential functions of the job. The employee must meet the qualifications set forth in the company’s vehicle safety policy. Failure to meet these qualifications could result in removal from this position.
