Your Role:

We are looking for an energetic Senior Consultant with extensive expertise in healthcare payer systems. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your analytical skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to excellence. You will work collaboratively in a team to tackle complex challenges while significantly impacting client and internal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Innovate by conducting thorough research, data analysis, and insightful interviews.
• Develop comprehensive business cases, provide actionable recommendations, and spearhead the implementation of operational initiatives.
• Lead projects and manage workstreams to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Create impactful client communications, present analytical findings, and address client inquiries autonomously.
• Analyze complex data sets, including medical and pharmacy claims, for robust quantitative analyses.
• Craft compelling business cases showcasing viable solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Deliver persuasive presentations to clients and internal teams, ensuring clarity and impact.
• Supervise implementation phases, guaranteeing successful execution and transition of initiatives.
• Mentor and guide Analysts and Consultants to foster their professional growth.
• Develop a deep understanding of client needs to deliver exceptional outcomes aligned with their objectives.
• Proactively ask incisive questions to uncover underlying issues and discover new opportunities.
• Handle other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the healthcare sector, particularly on the payer side.
• Over 4 years of consulting experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic SQL for data analysis.
• High self-motivation and accountability with the ability to inspire others.
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills.
• Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
• Strong project and process management skills.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for direct client interactions.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AArete's diverse industries: Healthcare Providers, Financial Services, Education, Retail & Consumer, Transportation, Logistics & Distribution, Public Sector, and Technology & Professional Services.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Based in Chicago, IL with flexibility to work from our Chicago office as required.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $125,000, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. This range may vary based on individual experience, certifications, and other relevant business factors.
