Tax Senior Manager –EY Private, Cross Border Center of Excellence

As an EY Private Tax Senior Manager, focusing on cross border tax needs of high net worth individuals and their affiliated entities, you will apply your tax knowledge across a wide range of topics and processes, devising elegant outcomes to complex challenges. You’ll work with some of the world’s most successful private clients and businesses, with a variety of projects supporting your career growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Manage responsibilities from technical planning to advising high net worth clients, acting as a trusted advisor and role model.
• Coach and develop a team, focusing on quality and value, and identify additional services for clients.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Apply rules related to controlled foreign corporations, foreign tax treaties, and credits.
• Experience with domestic and international tax returns, foreign reporting, and AI data optimization.
• Design tax plans, classify trusts, assist with US exit planning, and handle multi-jurisdictional inheritance issues.
• Translate complex data into insights, collaborate globally, and build client relationships.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor's degree, CPA or Bar membership, and 8+ years of experience in tax.
• Understanding of estate and wealth planning, federal and state income tax.
• Strong collaboration, negotiation, and technical skills, with project management experience.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Proven high net-worth tax planning experience, mentoring skills, and business development abilities.
