Job Description

Our direct client is a real estate investment trust that owns, operates and invests in carrier-neutral data centers across the world.

They are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager that has worked on Vertex Tax implementation project/s.

Position Details:

Location: San Francisco, CA (100% Remote)

Type : 6 Month Contract

Overview:

• 2+ years of experience managing complex cross-platform integration implementation projects
• The ideal person will have worked on a worked on a Vertex tax implementation
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across different time zones, including IT, Cyber Security, Compliance, Legal, HR, Finance, Ops, Product, Sales and Marketing and external vendors to manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Strong collaboration skills, partnering with other Project Managers and overall Program Leads on a regular basis
• Experience with project plans, Key Business Decisions, BRD’s, etc. etc.
• Experience managing projects related to any of these platforms is a plus: Salesforce.com, Oracle CPQ (configure-price-quote), Oracle CLM (contract lifecycle management) and Oracle financials.
• Plan, execute and deliver large-scale IT projects
• Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary to ensure minimal impact on project timelines.
• Facilitate effective communication between business units and technical teams to align IT integration goals with business objectives.
• Track and report project progress using standardized project management tools and methodologies; strong MS 365 required
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
