The Amplify Framework ( was launched in November 2017 and has quickly gained popularity within the industry. Adoption and usage of the framework has also grown rapidly but it is still Day 1 for the team and for our product with an extensive set of new capabilities scheduled for delivery in 2025. The Amplify Framework is a collection of open source libraries and tools that enable developers to create mobile and web apps on AWS. Amplify codifies best practices through programmatic interfaces to help developers effortlessly interact with AWS services. The Amplify Swift library provides these features to developers working with the Swift platform ( Key job responsibilities As an Amplify Swift engineer, you will be responsible for developing the features that help eliminate the friction and complexity of wiring up Swift projects to AWS services. Our mission is to make it easy for Swift developers to get up and running quickly using AWS services even if they are unfamiliar with them, so they can focus on building great innovative experiences for their customers. We are looking for a software engineer who is passionate about creating software for other developers and has a strong track record of successfully delivering new features and products. A commitment to teamwork, initiative, and strong communication skills are a must. Creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance products requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building scalable software products. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience programming with at least one software programming language

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 2+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of Apple platform development experience

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
