Senior Actuary - Financial Planning & Analysis
A dynamic and mission-driven organization is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Actuary to lead financial planning and analysis across multiple lines of business. This role plays a central part in shaping strategic decisions through advanced modeling, forecasting, and reinsurance administration.
The Senior Actuary will take ownership of line-of-business profitability, conduct source of earnings analysis, and maintain actuarial assumptions within AXIS. They will lead monthly actual vs. expected reviews, support internal reporting, and continuously improve budgeting and projection models-transitioning them toward greater automation, transparency, and integration with other systems.
This position also supports the development and refinement of the Total Company Model, including updating assumptions and interpreting results for senior leadership. In addition, the role oversees reinsurance administration, ensuring accurate premium calculations, data integrity, and coordination with internal teams and external reinsurers.
Additional responsibilities include conducting risk-based capital analysis, responding to auditor inquiries, and performing ad hoc actuarial studies as needed.
