Pay:

• $2,000-$2,200 per week.

Job Description:

• Contract through the 25/26 school year.
• The contract follows the academic district calendar - 37.5 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree, or higher, in relation to Special Education from an accredited college or university.
• Special Education Teaching certification in the state of Indiana.
• Proficiency in the subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a special education teacher (or a related field), with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

As a Special Education Teacher Supervisor you will:

• Provide guidance, mentoring, and professional development to special education teachers.
• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist in developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Oversee the development and implementation of specialized educational programs tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with school leadership to ensure that special education services are integrated effectively into the school’s overall educational framework.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding special education services.
• Maintain accurate records for all students in special education, including IEPs, assessments, progress reports, and other necessary documentation.
• Monitor timelines for IEP meetings and ensure all required paperwork is completed on time.
