Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for an acute care Critical Access Hospital assignment, requiring BLS certification and an active license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in an acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient setting
• Assignment focuses on patients with debilitating diseases
• Patient census averages 6 to 8 per day; inpatients are typically seen twice
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Utilizes Point Click Care EMR
• Roles include covering hospital, nursing home, and outpatient areas
• Supported by an OT manager and COTA
• Professional attire required
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Return candidates may not have been directly employed by the hospital system within the past year
• Specific radius rules may apply based on state of assignment

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active Occupational Therapy license, state or compact; license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Occupational Therapy experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in acute, rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings preferred
• Professional references including one supervisor from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
