Job Description Job Description Utilization Management Coordinator LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our healthcare client in hiring a Utilization Management Coordinator. This position will be 100% onsite and a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity. This position will be focused on obtaining pre-certifications for patient treatments, including corresponding with patients, providers and insurance companies for any necessary information for pre-cert authorizations. In addition to obtaining pre-certs, this role will also focus on appealing any denials to insurance companies for treatment and/or payments. Interested candidates must be knowledgeable of CPT, ICD, and HCPCS codes, as well different insurance payers. Requirements Associates Degree in healthcare admin or related field required CPC/CCS Certification strongly desired (not required) Minimum 3 years utilization management/medical billing and coding experience required Must be proficient working within EMR Systems and Microsoft Office Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially phone etiquette Detail oriented and ability to remain organized Able to work well independently and analytically problem solve Strong understanding of insurance payers, commercial and government Can meet production expectations as outlined by management Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour Search managed by: Jennifer Andrews Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
