As a Water Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by water damage. Your responsibilities will include assessing water damage, implementing restoration procedures, and ensuring that affected properties are returned to pre-loss conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assessment and Evaluation:
   • Conduct thorough assessments of water damage to determine the extent of the damage and the appropriate restoration procedures.
   • Identify potential safety hazards and take necessary precautions to mitigate risks.
2. Restoration Procedures:
   • Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques.
   • Remove and dispose of damaged materials such as drywall, carpeting, and insulation.
   • Clean and sanitize affected areas to prevent mold growth and ensure a safe environment.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Document all restoration activities, including damage assessments, restoration procedures, and equipment usage.
   • Prepare detailed reports for clients and insurance companies, including photographs and written descriptions of the damage and restoration process.
4. Customer Service:
   • Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders throughout the restoration process.
   • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from clients with professionalism and courtesy.
5. Equipment Maintenance:
   • Maintain and clean restoration equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
   • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
