Baroo is a modern Korean tasting menu restaurant in the Arts District, Los Angeles. In 2024, Baroo was selected as the LA Times Restaurant of the Year. We are looking for our first dedicated Sommelier / Wine Director.
Responsibilities include: wine service, curating and maintaining a diverse wine program, selecting thoughtful wine pairings, staff training on the wine program.
The position requires a minimum of three years of sommelier experience and prior experience managing a fine/upscale dining wine program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong communication and organizational skills and is sincere, gracious and willing to lend a hand to the team as needed.
