Data Scientist Join to apply for the Data Scientist role at Lincare. Role Overview The Data Scientist is primarily responsible for supporting/leading AI-driven initiatives that will help drive revenue growth, efficiency/productivity, and patient lifetime value. The individual will conduct prescriptive, predictive, and informational analytics to identify actionable insights. Required Skills Building machine learning algorithms Natural language processing (NLP) Large language models (LLMs) and other AI skills Technical coding skills, including SQL, R Markdown, and Python Data engineering Key Responsibilities Responsible for data analytics/data science on massive sets of complex and sometimes unstructured data to prepare for statistical analysis. Manipulate or convert data according to analysis needs and develop approaches to deal with imperfections in data (e.g., missing values or inconsistent data formatting). Identify and execute the best approach for assigned projects, which may include machine learning, NLP, LLMs, deep learning, neural networks, or other data science functions. Develop reports using complex formulas; analyze and review results for accuracy. Work with multiple data sources, accurately accessing the correct data within complex databases based on business needs and reporting requirements. Interact with all levels of technology teams, both internal and external to Lincare. Manage projects to ensure they are delivered successfully and in a timely manner. Identify opportunities to improve revenue, productivity/efficiency, and enhance patient lifetime value using data science technologies. Perform other duties as assigned.
