Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a Food Production Manager for Essentia Health Hospital in Fargo, ND . The Food Production Manager will oversee a team of frontline employees, inventory, menu development, and general kitchen management for the medical campus. This strategic leader will come with a background in kitchen management and have a proven ability to lead and develop teams in a culinary setting.

 

 

What You'll Do:

• help implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital
• supervise, develop, and mentor frontline staff
• procurement and purchasing
• help create menus based on client needs
• help create interpersonal relationships with client

• strong leadership skills and experience
• inventory management experience
• menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends
• proficient computer skills, highly organized, and detail-focused

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
