Job Description

Business Management Associates, Inc. "Love Thy Customer; Love Thy Work; Love Thy System" Business Management Associates (BMA) is seeking an HR Assistant - Generalist who will provide processing support for the HR Processing Center. The ideal candidate will support HR activities, including administrative and clerical procedures, and operate various office automation software such as databases and spreadsheets. Responsibilities & Duties: Assist HR personnel in developing staffing-related documents. Support HR classifications and employee/labor relations processing. Process actions, develop documents, and maintain HR files. Use office equipment to copy or scan documents. Upload documents into personnel records using the e-OPF system. Update records and personnel files. Generate and manage personnel actions using WTTS and FPPS. Enter and review personnel actions in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Assist Benefits Officer with employee benefits forms and data entry into FPPS. Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, pay, and personnel issues. Coordinate processing matters in meetings and working groups. Research and resolve non-complex HR problems related to pay, performance, and data accuracy. Background and Experience: Experience processing SF-52s and resolving HR issues related to pay and personnel actions. Proficiency in ensuring documentation compliance and payroll deadlines. Experience assisting with staffing, classifications, and employee relations documentation. Education & Requirements: Associate's Degree with at least three years of relevant experience.
