About Tactical Design North:

Tactical Design North is an innovative architecture firm specializing in creating exceptional designs that bring our clients’ visions to life. Specializing in public safety projects. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Drafter to join our team and support the creation of high-quality designs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, and schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
• Assist in producing technical documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to ensure designs align with client requirements and building codes.
• Participate in virtual client meetings to take notes, gather feedback, and understand project goals.
• Update and revise drawings based on feedback from the design team and clients.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation in line with company standards.
• Support the production of renderings, diagrams, and presentation materials for client presentations.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or certification in architecture, drafting, architectural technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in drafting & review software such as AutoCAD, Revit. & Bluebeam.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret architectural plans and technical information.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with comfort participating in virtual meetings with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Reliable internet connection and a home office setup conducive to remote work.
• Must be willing to Sign NDA due to the Nature of the Projects

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• Basic understanding of architectural design principles and building systems.
• Familiarity with local and national building codes and standards.
• Experience creating 3D models or renderings.
• Previous internship or project experience in an architectural setting.
