We are seeking a skilled and experienced Natural Gas Technician/Tie-Ins to join our team. As a Natural Gas Technician/Tie-Ins , you will be responsible for operating and maintaining tools and machines, doing tie-ins on gas lines, and ensuring the safe and efficient installation of underground utilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Be a team player and understand the job has to get done, so you will do more than just your job title
Requirements ( NON NEGOTIABLE ):
- Must live in the area and/or be able to get yourself to and from work daily
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be willing to train in our online, Operator Qualification (OQ) Program, on your own time andmeet the deadline for training to follow federal regulations for being an underground utility provider. This program is extensive and expensive, so if we invest in you, we expect you to complete your qualifications in the time period we give you.
- Must be able to do heavy lifting
- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Must be dependable and come to work every day
- Proven experience in natural gas utility installation
- Strong knowledge of gas pipeline operations
- Thorough understanding of underground utilities and their identification
- Proficiency in driving trucks and trailers
- Ability to operate mini excavators and perform related tasks
- Skilled in welding plastic pipe
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- There are times when we have to work Saturdays and overtime. This is a requirement of the job
