⚡ Job Summary:

We are seeking a  Solar Installer with experience in residential solar installation , including rooftop solar , solar electrical work , and hands-on knowledge of Enphase and/or Tesla systems. Ideal candidates will have at least 2years of solar installation experience , with the flexibility to perform multiple roles within the crew. Strong technical and leadership skills are necessary.

We primarily serve the residential solar market, light commercial solar, and off-grid battery backup customers.

The right candidate will be able to perform ALL aspects of a typical solar energy installation including battery backup.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complete solar PV system installations , including rooftop panel mounting and electrical connections

• Run conduit and pull wire for solar panel systems , inverters , and batteries

• Install, wire, and commission Enphase microinverter systems and/or Tesla Powerwall , among others.

• Complete AC/DC electrical work: wiring panels, breakers, disconnects, combiner boxes

• Ensure compliance with NEC codes , AHJ requirements , and company safety standards

• Troubleshoot issues with inverters, optimizers, and wiring

• Maintain accurate documentation of installation work

• Communicate with the project team and represent the company professionally on-site

✅ Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in solar PV installation (required)

• Proficiency with Enphase and/or Tesla products

• Familiarity with solar mounting systems , solar racking systems , and roof attachments

• Able to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety equipment properly

• Knowledge of solar electrical systems , solar wiring , and interconnection methods .

• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and personal accountability

• Must be able to work drug-free , be completely reliable , and punctual

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

• Off-grid solar and battery backup installation experience (preferred but not required)

• Leadership skills and ability to take initiative = higher pay and promotion potential

Special Note:

We sometimes perform completely off-grid system installations on Southwest Florida's barrier islands, accessible only by boat. These exciting installations and service work add a bit of variety to the solar installer role, and allow us to work in paradise on some of the most exclusive and unique properties in the area. We travel on our own company boat to perform work when we have jobs on the islands.
