Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Sr. Software Engineer (Testability Tooling) to join our dynamic team in the Tech Services industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of testability tooling and infrastructure. This role involves working closely with various teams within the organization to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain advanced testability tooling and infrastructure to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand product requirements and design appropriate test strategies.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
  • Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence design for testability.
  • Use your expertise in coding, algorithms, and complexity analysis to invent and simplify.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand their needs and ensure that the system architecture supports these needs.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality software design and implementation.
  • Utilize your experience with AWS DevOps to build and configure automation and cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop tools using technologies like SQL, JavaScript, Blazor, and TypeScript.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development or testing, with a focus on testability tooling and infrastructure.
  • 3+ years experience designing and implementing automated testing strategies to reduce customer impacting issues.
  • Proficient in .NET, C#, JavaScript, Blazor, TypeScript, SQL, and AWS.
  • Experience with build and configuration automation.
  • Solid understanding of system architecture, including the ability to work with developers to review and improve architecture.
  • Experience with AWS DevOps, including designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in tool development, with a focus on improving software quality and performance.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex software systems and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a results-driven attitude.
