\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 36 or 48 hour shifts in Level I Trauma Emergency Department
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5 across all shifts
\n• 2 years of experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
\n• Travel experience strongly preferred, but may consider candidates with 2+ years Level I experience
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC before submission)
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• Weekend coverage required as needed (Saturday/Sunday days, Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights)
\n• Floating required to Pediatric ED (optional), Adult PCUs (expectation), ED Holding, and Trauma DOE based on staffing needs
\n• Approximately 60%-80% of Emergency Department patients are admitted with many ED rooms serving as "ED Holding"
\n• Medication administration including IV medications, documentation and communication of clinical findings
\n• Must be comfortable with arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, IV vasopressors, and trauma procedures
\n• Experience with Level I/II Trauma, stroke care, and ventilated patients required
\n• Guaranteed contracted hours (36/48/40) per week with facility allowed to call off 3x during 13-week assignment
\n• Black scrubs required (not provided)
\n• Cerner charting system
\n• 24-hour orientation provided
\n• No locals within 75 miles accepted
\n• New Mexico license can be pending at submission

\nThis comprehensive medical center is a Level I Trauma Center, Children's Hospital, and Teaching Hospital providing acute care services. The facility operates 554 staffed beds and serves as a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Emergency Department handles 170-200 patients daily with 175 visits per day across 53 rooms and 68 beds. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support.
